We are delighted that you have decided to visit our website. Originally known as Kilmardinny Riding Club, based at Kilmardinny Riding Centre, Bearsden, in the early 70's, the Club later split into two branches, one becoming Allander Riding Club and the other West of Scotland (Glasgow) as we know it today.

We are a small but friendly club. Some members like to compete at fairly high levels, others enjoy mainly hacking, however our training sessions are geared to meet everyone's needs. We try to offer a wide range of training, demonstrations and competitions to suit members of all ages and abilities. Our instructors are all well known and experienced in handling different abilities but with the emphasis on fun and enjoyment rather than having you trembling in your stirrups!
